Pentecost 2017: meeting in Rome

Pope Francis has invited us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Charismatic Renewal in the Catholic Church at Pentecost 2017. We are all invited to Rome for this great event.

Pope Francis, a great evangeliser, very much desires that all the baptised should benefit from the marvellous grace of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
From now on we can prepare ourselves by asking the Holy Spirit to descend on the world and transform us. Ask Him to give us a surprise!
Laurent Landete, the Moderator of the Emmanuel Community, is asking us to come!

For this event, the Emmanuel Community is getting ready and wants to make it possible for us all to take part in this Jubilee. We suggest three options involving different types of accommodation – religious houses, chalets or youth hostels etc.

Option 6 days / 6 nights

(In Rome from Tuesday evening 30 May to Monday 5 June at 2.00 pm, i.e. 6 days and 6 nights)

In order to experience together the major moments of the Jubilee with Pope Francis and meet the various movements of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

Option 3 days / 3 nights

(In Rome from Friday evening 2 June to 5 June at 2.00pm, i.e. 3 days and 3 nights)

In order to experience the major events of the Jubilee during the Pentecost Weekend with Pope Francis and the International Meeting of the Emmanuel Community.

Option 3 days / 2 nights

(In Rome from Saturday 3 June at Midday until Monday 5 June at 2.00pm, i.e. 3 days and 2 nights)

A shorter option to experience the major events of the Jubilee with Pope Francis: the Vigil, the Pentecost Mass and the International Meeting of the Emmanuel Community.
