In 2000, the Emmanuel Community decided to respond to the call that Pope John Paul II repeatedly made, especially in his ‘Gospel of Life’, published March 25, 1995: ‘What is urgently called for is a general mobilization of consciences and a united ethical effort to activate a great campaign in support of life. All together, we must build a new culture of life.’ (Evangelium Vitae §95). ‘Bioethics & Human life’ is a branch of ‘Love & Truth’ devoted to bioethical issues
